Born in California, raised by New England and honing her craft in NYC, Sara received classical training at The National Theatre Institute, and holds BA’s in English and Theatre from Connecticut College. Applying both disciplines to her art, Sara seeks truth in dialogue, authenticity in fiction and performance, and favors the genuine human. She’s not as much of an asshole as this opening paragraph makes her sound.

Acting with Soho Rep, The Players Club, The Drama Dept., Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Dorset Theatre Festival, The Williamstown Theatre Festival and many other playhouses, she’s also an improvisor, having studied and performed at the original UCB and People’s Improv Theatres. As a voice artist and audio book narrator, she’s recorded with Scholastic, Hachette, MacMillian Audio, Recorded Books, Audible, and more. She’s a national ALA nominee and Audiofile Magazine EarPhones Award recipient.

Appearing on MTV, Nickelodeon, HBO, Comedy Central, and NBC, and in award-winning films at the Cannes and Tribeca film festivals, Sara received a Best Actress award from The Downbeach Film Festival, and worked formative jobs and internships with Clinica Esthetico, New Line Cinema, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. She speaks conversational Spanish, swims like a champ, studies Buddhism, drives stick, and fits in your pocket.
